Its shiny lemon and mineral aromas, its sharp acidity and its lightweight body make it an ideal companion for at least half the dishes of Greek cuisine such as fried fish, seafood, all kinds of light salad as well as cheeses or herbs. you could even create an all roditis dinner!
Roditis is one of the oldest and most widespread Greek vine varieties.
Despite the reddish color of its peel, it is used to produce white wines that offer mature fruit aromas, high alcohol content and balanced acidity.
Easily in genetic variants, Roditis is known all over Greece with different names showing clones of different qualitative characteristics. When grown at high altitude, low-yielding vineyards can give wines with intense aromas and good structure.
